This year’s expo presented a wide range of intelligent products including industrial robots, service robots, drones, robotic parts and smart wearable devices. It also exhibited a series of high-end products and emerging technologies related to intelligent equipment and manufacturing.
Colamark, a Hong Kong company, brought two of their leading products, a vision tablet counter and a syringe-labeling machine, to the expo. Zhou Ying, Sales Director (South China), said he was glad that the country has been supporting the industry and the scale of the expo has been growing year by year.
“We are one of the very first batch to settle in the Guangzhou Economical and Technological Development District. Now that the district has a mature Eco-system for import and export, our Guangzhou branch can reach the oversea counterparts much more easily. Thus far, 30 percent of our products have been exported to Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Africa,” said Zhou.
In addition, the expo and industrial alliances organized various professional forums which shed light?on hot topics, such as robotics, cross-sector innovation and 3D printing. It also included partnering meetings between domestic and overseas enterprises.

The expo is held by SINOMACH, and supported by SINOMACH-IT, SINOMACHINT, China Electric Institute and Guangzhou Robotics Alliance.
The intelligent equipment is a fundamental component of Guangzhou’s plan to develop the ‘IAB’ industries, that is, information technology, AI and bio-technology, and it’s key to?the city's?economy. According to the statistics, the annual output of the intelligent equipment and robot industry reached 56.7 billion yuan in 2018, increased 6.8 percent compared to last year.
In recent years,?Guangzhou has been transforming the traditional equipment and fostering the intelligent equipment market. It has clustered both up-stream and down-stream enterprises covering key components, robots, assembling and inspection.
